New by the way he looked recently that he did not have long to go.
I would like to think that he may now be sitting grinning ear to ear on a flat world, moving across the universe held up by four giant Elephants on a Turtles back.
He definitely had amazing imagination!
A great fantasy/sci-fi/comedy writer, and a nice guy. :(

First Nimoy, now this.
:(
I never cry when celebrities pass, but these have really upset me. Horrible couple of weeks. :( :(
This really is no time to go falling of the edge. It's far to soon.
I'm going to miss you Sir. A lot.
In keeping with Sir T's irrepressible sense of humour...
Probably a better obit than you'll find in the press.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary

RE: [VIDEO] Terry Pratchett RIP
Sir Terry was one of only two authors who's work I will buy blindly. (The other being Mark Billingham).
After the events of the last couple of months, I think I haven't got any sorrow left :(

Deeply saddened. A uniquely skewed viewpoint on the universe.

RE: [VIDEO] Terry Pratchett RIP
Just remembered. As it happens, annie and I popped into our local Waterstones on Monday to get some Mum's day gifts. Annie asked the guy behind the counter about any upcoming Kathy Reichs, and I took the chance to ask if Terry was releasing anything soon (apparently there was something scheduled this summer), but the chap behind the counter was also a massive fan, so we ended up having a half-hour conversation about his work and life. I was impressed that he had a signed copy of Carpe Jugulum, he was impressed I owned one of his books he'd never heard of (Strata)

Wondering if this is of any interest to Rob or anyone else who runs/administers a site.
