I used to enjoy Shelley as well.
First came to my attention when he saw the side of Hayley Mills that us teenage boys wished we'd seen in The Family Way.

Shame his passing didn't get more attention as he chose to go the same day as Robert Hardy.

Shelley, I really need to watch that again, I remember really enjoying it. One of those rare good ITV comedies.

Another Shelley fan here. And I remember him well as a totally different character in Malice Aforethought. To me he is a thirty-something bloke but in reality is a dead 73 year old (young to die these days). Life eh?
