From a time when less people were offended!
IN MADNESS YOU DWELL
RIP Freddie you always brought a raucous laugh to me & my Father back in the 70's.
My outlook on life is positive & carefree, I'm positive that I'm a pessimist & I don't care what what you think.
Never has so little had to be explained by me to so many so often.

Definitely of his time.
The fast forward lip sync routine still stands up though.

I am not young enough to know everything.
Remember wife and I going to see his live show in Blackpool decades ago. We were falling about laughing, and it was belly laughs so sore, I was begging the visual and audible jokes to end, as it hurt.
He could be rude and crude, but one of the best entertainers of his time.
Well done Freddy, you will be packing the playhouse's up there, or down there, or both, as he was a bit of an angel and a devil :D
Before the PC brigade moved in he was simply a very very funny man, some of the humour is still hilarious now, and the 70's and 80' comedies I still love watching even though they wouldn't get away with it now and I'm not sure its for the best as this country has always been at its best when we laugh at ourselves and each other.
He ate my hamster...or something...
RIP Freddie.

Maybe I missed something, but I don't remember him being non-PC at all, just falling out of fashion with the rest of light entertainment of his era.
RIP Freddie.

The last mainstream comedian who could do a Hitler routine without the left-wing PC crowd browning their trousers in indignation.
