Page 1 of Trial Depp n Ex
General Forum
I heard that Johnny Depp was found guilty in your English court . Now his new trial
I watch totally glue watching it. Today they
had their closing, it was better well done
but I don’t know which way it’s going.
We don’t get to see the jurors at all, they left
and will return on Tuesday , they get a three day holiday account Memorial Day on Monday.
Oh btw who do you think is going to win?

in general terms, no one is interested!
We have much more important things going on here, Platinum Jubilee celebrations, and a 4 day weekend coming up

Not as true as you might think.
It's been a conversation between my lot, two female one male and all adults.
Just a few 'oh really' and 'no haven't seen it' from my side.
For what it's worth they're all on Depp's side.

And you never will. If their identity is revealed, in any court case, they can be threatened, bribed, influenced or intimidated by 'concerned parties'

Pardon?
You see jurors actually being interviewed after high profile cases once a verdict is returned.
Or are you saying it's different in civil rather than criminal cases?

I'll admit, I've been completely hooked by this trial.
I don't know where they got some of these witness but it's been an absolute hoot from start to finish.
Some of the highlights involved:
- Heard's lawyer objecting to his own question.
- The usually very private Kate Moss testifying against Heard's claims that Depp had thrown Moss down some stairs during their relationship in the 90s. In fact, her testimony only made Depp look even more chivalrous.
- Walter Hamada (Head of DC at Warner Bros.) testifying that Heard's role in Aquaman 2 was reduced due to poor chemistry with Jason Momoa.
- Ex-TMZ employee testifying that the video of Depp smashing cabinets was shorter compared to the one submitted in evidence for the trial, suggesting that Heard had edited it to remove the part that makes her look bad. It also heavily suggested that she was the one who leaked it to TMZ.
- The judge being dumbfounded after watching Alejandro Romero's video deposition, in which he starts taking huge drags on his vape and then starts driving while still answering questions.
- Heard's team inexplicably submitting the same photo as evidence of two separate incidents of alleged abuse.
- Heard's team submitting an audio clip as evidence of Depp's jealousy in which he has stolen her red Mera wig and is prancing around pretending to be her character fawning over Aquaman.
- The testimony from one of Heard's witnesses that Aquaman was "the most successful movie of all time" (it wasn't lol)
Special mention goes to Depp's hilarious (and rather spicy) text about Heard and Elon Musk:
Really snaps?
I have no memory of ever seeing that.
What sort of things do they say - I didn't think they could discuss lots of the case - especially the deliberation room.
As we aren't even allowed cameras and still have artists' sketches, how do we know they even were one? 😂
EDIT: apparently posting anything about the case on social media after the trial is contempt of court and can be fined or jailed.

It's not allowed in this country but seems to be in the States.
Most recent one I can remember is a juror from the Ghislaine Maxwell trial caused ructions after admitting being a victim of child abuse when they were specifically asked that in the jury selection.

Apologies, I meant during the case. If they want to get some money off the media after the verdict that's up to them, but depending on the case, that may give more grief than they're expecting
