Anyone else having trouble page scrolling with the new version of Firefox 1.0.1? The page just gets stuck, but only seems particularly bad when lots of tabs are open. Same trouble on both of my PCs. I`m reluctant to go back to the previous version for security reasons. Don`t remember this issue with the previous version.

No problems here... try enterin about:config in the location bar type scroll in the filter box that pops up and try changing some settings - but remember what they should be!

Think I`ve found the problem.

Noticed in task manager when having trouble with page scrolling that CPU usage was 100%. This seems to happen when lots of tabs are open, but only on some websites.
I`ve tested a few sites with the max of 34 tabs open without problem with CPU usage or page scrolling.

After googling with the words `Firefox 100% CPU usage` it seems the problem might be a bug in Firefox, accentuated by adverts and cookies. Didn`t get enough time to read as much as I`d have liked, but problem now solved.

cheers for replies
