Damage calculations

How the hell can my Gremlin, strength 500+, only do single figure damage in well over 50% of it`s hits, even when using HIT HARDER to up the strength to 600+

Opponents with lower strength hardly ever hit my for less that 3 figures.

NOT HAPPY AT ALL

Damage done is based in part on the difference between your strength and your opponent`s.

Which is why if your strength is very low and theirs is very high, you will do little damage, but they will do a lot.

thats ludicrous

So a strong weed has much more chance of knocking over a weak guy with the constitution of an Ox than the other way round.

Oh well, I might as well just go for Conan types in future, theres no point in doing anything else as the Conans will always win.

Not necessarily - if your dex is high enough then the conan will only be able to hit you once every 5 rounds or something - so high stam and dex can combat high str.

Strong Grems do tend to Win a lot of matches but ... they tend to win quickly, and are not an attractive challenge for other grems. So you end up missing out on XP and so don`t carry on up the charts.

UncUgly4 Unbeaten for 90+ fights at the end of his career but only 85th in the all time list

so theres still an inbalance between the benefits of loading Dex vs loading Str !

Totally agree with UU

The hardest gremlin ever (So far) Gelo3 only made up to 74 in the current all time greatest list

Gelo3's smaller brother, Gelo4 is a fast nippy little thing and has surpassed all of his predecessors in the all time rankings and has done this in 90 less challenges.

Proving that Dex is the best way to go, it don`t get you wins but it gets the XP.

I`ve also noticed and did post it on the end of another topic, that damage can also exceed the figures you have, even when boosted with "hit harder".
