Page 1 of LG DVD 5253 - ANY MULTI REGION HACKS?

If anyone knows any hacks to make the LG DVD 5253 Multi Region I would be SO grateful. I`m not sure whether to risk trying the one for the AIWA XR-DV 370KN.

yeah there is a cd based hack for this player ,read furher on in the forum,there is a direct link to the site.you will have to burn a cd to make this work .but it is very straightforward.

Anyone with a 5000 series LG DVD player (it`s definitely works with the LG DVD 5253) go to this web address:

and follow the instructions exactly. You have to download a file, un-zip it and then burn it to a CD-R (yep you need a CD Re-writer.)

I joined the forum just to let you know that I used the multi-region hack on my LG 5253 last night, and it worked perfectly.

I followed the instructions EXACTLY, including the helpful guide for Nero (which I used to burn my CD at 40x speed) and had no problems.
