Page 1 of Matsui 110 black and white problem, please help

i recently used the hack on this web site, and it worked, i then tested my only R1 title (stir of echos) and it will only play in black and white. I read that i might be able to use a "standards converter" Does anyone have any ideas as these cost around £60, if i`m correctly informed.

Intead of a converter, why don`t you spend the £60 on getting it chipped to play R1`s ? This will also stop the RGB interference, which is causing the B&W playback of your Region 1`s.

At www.linkonline.co.uk it`ll cost you about £30.00 for a update kit if you solder it yourself. I have the same prob and am getting one myself. I`m gonna solder it myself, check the site to see if they have one for your player and they tell you how easy it will be to install too.
