This Phillips Remote Hack....

Hamish (Harmless) posted this on Saturday, 30th December 2000, 21:03

Which model One-for-All remote do I require ?

Does it have to be the One For All 6 URC-7560 6 device ?

because I quite like the One For All 4 Digital...

If anyone has any experience I`d be very grateful.

Cheers

BTW Can anyone recommend a good UK store to purchase these from?

Thanks again

Hamis

as long as the remote can control a DVD using code 0539 then you can use any one.....but you`ll find that only a few can do this.....

have a look at the oneforall website....you can downoad each remotes manual in .pdf format.....

as for a shop to buy them from.......????

I got mine from COSTCO in Gateshead.....but it`s a trade shop like MAKRO...so you have to join before you can buy......

The ONEFORALL 6 cost £20.00 plus VAT....

See YAH!

AFAIK, the OneForAll 5 can do this (it has a DVD button too). I`m not sure about the OneForAll 4, but I hear that you can assign the RC6 code to the Video button. I can`t say whether this is for definite though...

I spotted the One for All 6 for £35! (in Currys)
There was also another remote, the Vivanoa, Vivarano, something like this, that contained DVD codes. It was considerably cheaper.

Does anyone know if this would work?

Thanks.

You`ve asked the same question in two threads. There is an answer to your query somewhere... See if you can find it! :P
