need hack for pioneer 525,
would be eternally gratefull.
can any one help?

No known handset hacks, however there may be a chip solution for this.

You need the E-mod hack from techtronics.com

Remote Hack is available and very simple. Just follow these short steps. Turn the player on without a DVD. All comands are to be carried out on your remote. Press set up. Press Right Green Arrow until GENERAL is selected. Press Down Arrow Once. Press Display. Press Condition Memory Button, Select Region you want (1,2,3,4), press setup.

All steps have to be repeated to change region. Last region selected is stored in memory, but procedure has to be repeated every time you want to change regions. Enjoy

the "remote hack" described above is not a remote hack for a virgin 525 player ... it is simply the user instructions of a manual region selecting modifed player .... the guy simply doesnt realise the player was modified before he bought it
