Page 1 of Alba DVD55

I`m still looking for a multi region hack for this machine, but so far I`ve had no luck at all. Anybody found one yet please?

It`s a clone of a US player called the KLH-KD1220, possibly made by Apex.

The only hack to surface on the internet is this one, but my fellow webmaster at `450, Craig, didn`t manage to get it to work.

I am still looking for a multi region hack for the ALBA DVD 55 if anyone can help? I have tried clayts reply but doesn`t work. :( :/ Anymore ideas anyone?

hi cassie68 i just bought a alba dvd55 and also found it wouldn`t play multi region dvds.i tried clayts suggestion i typed in the number when the opening screen was in view the player went onto standby i thought it hadn`t worked so i typed it in when it was on standby then switched it back on and it worked.good luck with yours

when i typed in the number the first time the tv was showing the screen that says alba digital versatile disc player when i finished typing in the number i pressed the power button and the dvd player went onto standby.thinking it hadn`t worked i typed it in again the player stayed on standby when i finnished typing in the code.i then pressed the open button on the player put a dvd in that didn`t work earlier the player started to load this then it just started to play it.im sorry if this doesn`t sound to discriptive but thats basically what happened.

have you tried the hacks for the 2 alba models on the a-z pages. i know it doesnt have your model but i have an alba dvd45 and the hacks worked for that.

what do i do for a , (comma) i.e after the long code before the 5?

At a wild guess, the comma is a pause in the post not a physical keypress on the remote.
