Does anyone know a region Hack for the Shinco-SDP 1830 model, i have got one from the States,

According to Scan its already MR (maybe thats a UK only?)

I have one of these (from Halford UK) and it is definitely not Multi Region out of the box.

I notice a lot of places selling these state that theirs are MR which would suggest that there is a hack. Anyone know what it is?

Turn the Player On
Press Stop
Press Setup
Press Still / Step
Press 1, 2, 3
Select the Region Code

Let the forum know if it works ...or not

No joy. When you say `still/step` I used the pause key as I have nothing on the remote which says still/step.
