Thanks for the hack.
I`ve run it through and it works, but I have a little problem : the DVD (zone 1) displays in B&W on my Philips 755 originally zone 2.
Does anyone have an idea about the cause ?

No, the zone 1 DVD plays fine on your Philips 755! The problem is that your TV cannot display NTSC pictures.

There are two solutions -- either get hold of a "video standards converter" and plug it between your DVD player and your TV, or get a new(er) TV which can display NTSC pictures. :)
