Page 1 of Alba rdvd1006 - Remove Protection when copying

I want to make back-up copies of my disney DVDs and Videos just in case the originals get damaged.

However, the ALBA RDVD1006 keeps pausing the recording due to the original having some form of copy protection.

Is there any hack to remove this protection to allow me to copy my purchased DVDs/Videos.

I don`t think there is a hack to remove macrovision,you used to be able to buy a special scart lead (think it was scart),Not sure where to recommend possibly e-bay.

Even if you removed the Macrovision Protection from your Alba Recorder ...and Dkuk2000 is correct there is NO known Macrovision Hack for your Recorder ...it would make No difference

Your Alba Recorder is detecting the Macrovision from The Source Player ie Your VCR or DVD Player that you have connected to your Alba Recorder...you would need to be able to disable the Macrovision on these to Enable Recording of "Back Up" disks.......This may be possible with a Hack for the DVD Player depending on what Player it is , but Very Unlikely for a VCR Player.

As Dkuk200 stated there are Scart leads that apparently can remove this protection...a Google search will probably help you find one.
