Page 1 of Philips 612S DVD Hack.

I have the above model and have followed the instructions on this web site but I cannot program my One for All remote. (Digital Type).
Any help would be great.

I had a similar problem when I tried this hack on my 612s.You have to follow the instructions exactly as you read them.
I used a One For All 5 remote ( urc 7550 ) and used the set up code 0539 on the VCR button and followed the rest of the hack and it works fine.

I don`t have the ( OneForAll ) remote controler. Can I set my DVD player to be region (1) compat without it or do I need to buy one? If so where can I buy the ( OneForAll ) remote needed to crack my Philips 612s. Or any of these ones I may need. I have followed the instructions to the letter and although the player now plays the region 1 discs it is in black and white can anyone help me to change it from black and white into colour??? Thanks James

ok..enough screaming...plug your scart lead into the RGB scart input of your TV rather than composite...
