No - as part of the standard-setting committee, the DVD Forum, Panny have to be squeaky clean in that department - hardware modification only, I`m afraid :-(

It is possible to upgrade this player with a Service DVD Disk .... some dealers have these available to rent ....

Also, some other dealers will use the disc on your machine for you while you wait, it only takes half a minute.
