Page 1 of LG 3350 Hack - Question

Does anyone know if the remote hack remains in force once enabled?
Or...does it work for xx occasions before locking?

If IT Troll is looking in...mine also manufactured Jul 2000 and it looks like the hack is valid. COdE shown on LCD, but that`s as far as I took it as I have no R1 discs to try out.

Slight smell wafting over from your supplier, perhaps?

If ya got the "COdE - - " message Moby, then the hack will work.

And it`s permanent until you change it! :o)

Maybe. There was signs that someone had opened the case before so I believe Techtronics did do a firmware update. It just seems that it isn`t neccessary. Mine was also made in July 2000 and appears to have the same firmware version as shop bought players.

Oh joy !! Thanks for that info Jimbo, all we need now is a macrovision killer and our happiness will be complete :)
