Have you additioned these?.

I was going to buy the the Yam320, i went for an audition and was really disappointed I didnt like it at all. It was just way to `boomy` imo.

It`s all personal taste and you might like the sound, but i would definately recommend you audition them before you buy.

Allso if you can have a listen to the MJ Accoustic Pro 50. It does not have as much out and out punch but is more refind and smaller. In the near future REL the sub kings (imho) will be releasing the new REL Quake. This will be well worth a look. Trust me.

All the best,

The 42%er.

I have two Rel`s for sale and they are fairly good
but if you can stretch to it you will not beat any of
the M&K subs just upgraded to one myself
and they are fantastic

For some odd reason I missed this thread, my apologies.

Westy did a comparison of subwoofers a while back, and the Yammy 320 came out rather well :

I seem to recall Westy had his sub (at one stage he had two 320s !) in a relatively small space without any over-cumbersome bass : you need to ensure you`re not just cranking the volume up on the sub, as really the idea is for them to be subtle

REL have always made quality subs, so you may want to consider the offer made above : however, they do eat into your wallet considerably so have your haggling head on !

Rob, how much are you asking for one of your rel`s if you still have them of course. and which are they?

I too am thinking about a sub and spotted that on www.avforums.com in the Power Buys forum they`re about to do a power buy on a Velodyne CHT10. I`m not one for buying something I haven`t seen but if it`s really as good as these guys say it is (and they really do know their stuff) then it`s a bargain.
