Cheapest Portable DVD Player

cfgte3 (Elite) posted this on Sunday, 23rd March 2003, 21:25

I`m thinking of getting myself one of these. A cheap one though. I remember seeing one a couple of months ago in Stuff magazine that was a budget one, very cheap. Anyone know what model this was, or any other cheap player?

Cheers

DVD-V56L

With a 7" screen! Wow.

My bad doesn`t seem to be a panasonic at all - it`s an Acoustic Solutions.

Bought the Naiko portable DVD (N-888) player from Safeway for £250. Multi-region play straight out of the box, no problems with RCI discs.

Bit chunky, picture fine, easy to hook up to a TV, sound fine.

Bargain at £250!

Think the offer runs until the end of May or until stocks are gone.

Just got to put up with the kids fighting over it now, not such a great bargain!
