Page 1 of Thinking of Upgrading firmware for Toshiba sd-220e

Is this a good idea?, i already have a multiregion player which doesn`t play rce discs, will this work for my toshiba and enable it to play rce discs and r1 ok? Also has anyone downloaded the upgrade and done it themselves, how did you get on with it?

Does this hack work for SD330/SD330e?

:o Hi . I`ve been looking around the net and I think you might be able to help. I have a Toshiba SD-220E and I want to make it multi regional. I have dvd`s from the U.S. that I cant watch. I`m very new to this. You seem to have had some good results, can you help? I have tryed a link posted on this site by Mike G and it doesn`t work. Thanks
