Page 1 of Matsui DVD225 or the Cyberhome 400?

Which is better the Matsui is £69.99 and the Cyberhome is £49.99 if you can find it.

I`m used to cheap players as I just upgraded to the Matsui from an Alba 104.
The Matsui has much better pciture quality and plays DVD+R flawlessly, which was a problem with the Alba. Error correction is also much better. Control is OK if a little bulky.
It has Scart, S-Video and coax digital out.

It`s small and it`s only 70 quid.

What more do you need?

Neither. The Toshiba SD330E for £79.99 at Digitalpoint or Amazon is a far better player for the money.

the cyberhome 400 from WHSmith, i got one it is great, better than my pioneer 454! it plays raw jpegs and mpegs and also vcds, dvdrw all the lot!
