RE: any info on yammy a592 amp
The A595a is the bollox.Goes loud and still handles
clarity with ease.Fast surround steering. DD,DTS
decoders.Yamaha`s own Digital Soundfield Processor.
Or maybe you mean the E492 Processor. I can`t give
you any first hand knowledge on this one.
He`s talking about the earlier 592 Amp - the precursor to the 595 and the A5. I presume your are looking at one second hand ?
You will probably need to hunt around using a search engine or two to find the exact technical specifications. Try this for starters:

It`s a review by Tomalski (RIP).
I had one of these before I traded up to the Yamaha A5. It`s a ProLogic only amp, so don`t expect DD or DTS. It does, however, have six channel input if you have a digital decoder in your DVD player. It`s also obsolete, so don`t pay too much for one. I doubt they`re worth more than £75-100 now depending on condition.

cheers bud i think ill save a little more ive also been offers a a5 for £220 with 3 months warranty i think its a good buy its a display model chow
FYI - I`ve never known anything to go wrong with a Yammy amp, and I`m on my third (and have friends with them too).
That, however, does not constitute a warranty ;-)

If you want the ultimate low down on a yamaha thing - go to their website (the url is obvious) and download the users manual. I have done that with the Yamaha DSP-A5 and now I almost don`t need to buy the amp!
