Thinking of buying the 32 inch Philips on special from Currys, question is even though the tv has built in freeview ,i live in an area where freeview is not possible but would the tv still allow me to view my normal 4 stations?
Would appreciate any feedback.
Cheers Martin
Should do, as long as there`s an RF aerial input socket (I can`t believe they would miss this out, integrated Freeview TV or not)

Yes it has a regular analogue tuner too so you will be able to watch good old grainy 4:3 ratio pictures on it.
Seems a bit of a waste though IMHO if you live somewhere where you can`t pick up digital broadcasts.

Widescreen is a waste if you have no digital broadcasts to view,or watch a good deal of dvd`s.
If you must go for Philips why buy one with Freeview if you cannot get it?The Freeview section does not come free of charge in the set.
But watching analogue on a digital tv is a serious waste of money.Wait until you need it
Well the thing is i was planning to buy the normal version of this tv with dvd and video for £780 now currys are doing it with DVD for £699 and also chucking in a/v sender thought i was getting a good price do you all still think its worth it?
