Cyberhome 402 player - any good?

Faramir (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Tuesday, 16th December 2003, 18:45

I am thinking of getting a Cyberhome DVD402 player and would like to hear from anyone who owns/has owned one. Is this player any good? Can anyone recommend it or identify any problems they have had with it.

Thanks

I own a Cyberhome ADL528, 2 400s & a MP Man (thats absolutely identical to the Cyberhome & uses the same hack - you work it out ;) ) portable DVD player. As "unknown" brand they are well supported at www.adl528.com & by the repair agents Pulse in Wales.

Only had trouble with the ADL528 once after 2 years & that was swapped under warranty by Richer sounds.

They appear to be a better known brand in the US as the www.cyberhome.com website is much neater than the european one.

For the spec & the prices of CH kit in general I would take it over a Asda or Safeway machine anyday of the week. Mostly good comments & feedback elsewhere on this site & others.
