Page 1 of why oh why ?????????

MY LG DVD 5063 WON`T PLAY COPIES WHY IS THIS

IS THERE A QUICK FIX OR DO I NEED TO PURCHASE ANOTHER DVD PLAYER ???

It may be down to the media you are using or the method of burning.
What software are you using and what type of media do you usually use.

NEW TO ALL THIS I`VE JUST BORROWED SOME CPOIES FROM PEOPLE I KNOW AND NONE WORK EVEN SOME FROM JAPAN THAT WOULDN`T WORK ON MY DVD

Can it still play original CD`s and CDR/RW or does it refuse to play anything. If it does not play anything then it may be that you need to try a lens cleaner.

Sorry but that is all that I can think of and a lens cleaner is a reasonably cheap start in the problem solving process.

it will play originals no problem but when i put a copy in it spins for a while then a message comes up on screen saying `disc error`

I have tried DVD+ and DVD- on dozens of players.LG was the only player to refuse any recordable discs.I have tried about 6 different LG players,only one of them played DVD-.The latest one that I tried the other day refused + and -,but it was 2 years old.I assume the player that worked was a newer model.
Wharfedale players give similar results.
