is there anyway to hack the playstation2 dvd player so that it can play region 1 dvd`s

Be warned some mods that are already out disable features of the PS2, such as running of Playstation 1 games

the dvd playback is p*** m8 so don`t loose any sleep over it.

apparently the jap one is hackable dony know nout about the uk one though but ime sure like all sony stuff it will get chipped ,

go and buy a real DVD player one that can do what you ask and use the PS2
