sparky said he was on a tight budget! When did "about £500" become cheap??
I am thinking of getting a Widescreen TV too.
Anyone recommended a cheap but chirpy model? I can manage about £300.
Aye.
the cheapest widescreen i have seen on the net so far is the Hitachi C28W410SN £370 at www.empiredirect.co.uk i dont know how good or bad this tv is other could most prob be able to help you better there.
I`m looking at getting the Panasonic TX28DK2 £549 or if i get the £££££££££££££££££`s and lose all control over my wallet i`d could end up with the Panasonic TX28PG45 £1079
RE: Recommend a widescreen tv
I got a goodmans 28" widescreen telly from argos last year for £280 - my only regret is that I didn`t get a bigger one!
ps. endgame cant be as insulting as highlander 2 which was a disgrace to filmmaking.
I got the Hitachi C28W410TN for £320 from the Hitachi Factory Shop in East Ham, London (they did have a site at www.whatsonsale.co.uk and it was a special internet price)
Anyway its a really nice TV - pukka. It did have some gaussing problems from being stored near a load of louspeakers i guess, but they have now all gone (when the telly is switched on from cold it degausses, and eventually it fixes it all)
RE: Recommend a widescreen tv
I can recommend the Philips 24PW6005 at £305.29 from empire direct.
I have this model and it has been great from day 1. The only thing some may not like is the lack of an S-Video input.
Go on get it you know you want to!
