Sub £200 DVD players? and what`s this about Techtronics
I am looking for a good Multi-reg DVD player for arond 200. Which of these is best
-tosh 100e
-tosh 210e
-pioneer 535
-lg3200
-jvc 523
also, are techtronics as bad as some people say or are they a good place to buy from?

As 4 which dvd, they`ve all got their good and bad points.Personally i`ve got a pye 530 and it ROCKS BABY YEA. Dont know about Techtronics.

Of the players you mentioned, the Toshiba 100E has the highest spec and best picture quality, but struggles terribly with RCE. I have the 200E, and have to enter laborious "memory select" and "go to" type commands to watch some R1 discs. Techtronics, (ironically) are one of the few that offer this machine fully RCE compatible. If you`ve read the "Be warned" thread in the retailer forum then you could understand why I`d hold back from recommending them. I don`t know enough about the others listed to venture an opinion, but several of this site`s users own an LG machine and seem very happy with them.

Unless you`re the kind of person who gets a perverted thrill from being ripped off?! As for the the Toshiba 100E, yes the picture quality is pretty good (though not stunning) but the player isn`t the most quiet of machines in regular play mode - surprising for a supposedly `good` brand?
