Page 1 of Liteon LVW 5001 Help Needed

I have hardly any hair left! I spent the entire day trying to tune the blasted thing in via RF, only to find out on this forum hours later that it does not have such a facility!
Now it plays back pre-recorded DVD`s in stereo/Dolby Digital, but can I get it to RECORD in stereo? No! I mean via the TV Tuner thingy. does it actually record in stereo TV programmes? A waste of space if it doesn`t.
What should the bit stream/PCM (huh?) setting be set to?
Where is this bloody stereo recording, it is all in mono.
I am connected via scart to scart.
Anyone help a slowly balding person, please?

Just seen your post and don`t know if this is too late but anyway:

The 5001 and 5005 range of Liteons only have a mono rf tuner however it will record in Stereo via Scart, which these does is not such a big problem with the multitude having some sort of digibox.
