I am also interested in this but I`ve managed to dig up some information:

- The DVD player in the package is actually the Bush DVD2004

- The speakers are Pro300

- It is multiregion OUT OF THE BOX!

- Contains two games (I kid ye not - Tetris and Othello)

- It DOESN`T HAVE MACROVISION!!!! (This means that you can record DVD to tape!!!!)

And if you don`t believe me go into google.com and do a quick search! And from what I can see people seem to rate it pretty highly.

Bush 2004

The Bush 2004 is not that bad a machine (the one I had disabled macrovision).
I only had it for a week though as I didn`t like the glitches. Froze on me once and the subtitles sometimes keep appearing for no reason. Also on some popular discs (such as M:I2) you can`t turn the subtitles off!
Anyhow at the price it`s not too bad when you consider that it`s multi regional out the box.
I`ve seen the Home Cinema system you`re talking about in Currys for around £270.
