Backing up a dictaphone tape - 2.5mm jack to 2 phono

Brian Elliott (Reviewer) posted this on Monday, 10th April 2006, 10:51

Hi guys,

I`ve got a few dictaphone tapes that I want to transfer to CD, using my stand-alone CD recorder. I`ve got a 3.5mm jack to two phono cable, but the dictaphone has a smaller headphone socket which I assume is 2.5mm. Do you know of somewhere where I can either get a 2.5mm jack to 2 phonos, or even a 2.5mm to 3.5mm connector, so that I can use my 3.5mm to 2 phono cable in conjunction with it? Quality is not particularly important as I`m hardly recording the new Coldplay album? ;)

Cheers!
