Page 1 of Liteon 5005 dvd recorder!! probs

Hiya!!

Just a quick question has anyone else had any problems with this machine on its lack of accepting discs to record on??

I`ve had the machine for over a year now and have used a variety of discs (sony/jvc/mrData/imagination/tdk/maxell) but all of a sudden it seems to not like discs!!?? I regularly clean the lens and can`t work out why!

Any advice?

I tend to use Datawrite (from SVP) the Yellow and titatium ones with only 1 problem disc. I`ve also used Phillips RW+ . I gave up on maxell cause I was able to record then there`d be a problem after a few plays Liteon would read the disc, but okay in Sony dvd player :/

Or search under liteon in DVDR for other threads with useful information on the liteon :) At least you don`t have to register to get information as you would with other sites 8)
