Page 1 of humax pvr

can anyone tell me what the benefits are to downloading updates for a pvr9200t. have had it nearly a year and havent downloaded at all.
reading some other comments it seems people have had troubles after downloading so wondering if its best left alone

For me, the big advantages of the upgrade were:

Ability to select and delete multiple recordings instantly without arsing about in the menu system.
Timer slots increased to 50.
Search results increased to 250.
