Page 1 of Do Hitachi TVs Also ROCK???????

Found a Hitachi C28W410TN (28" Widescreen Nicam)
for £340 delivered. This sounds like a good deal,
do Hitachi make good TV s - advice from owners would be most welcome.

The Hitachi C28W410TN is last years model, you can pick up the 411 for a bout 40 quid more, The only difference is the TV/Stand is all silver and the stand has 3 levels.

I had a 511 which is the same TV with Pro logic, overall I really liked the TV, the picture & sound where great it`s just it was a little low on features and had a tilt, that could only be fixed at a workshop as it was glued.

SO it is a good TV with few extra`s.

I now have a C28WF523N.

Hi,

I`ve got the C32WD2TN2,and have been very happy with it very good picture quality, and the sounds not bad, although I tend to use my amp for the sound on most things these days.

I also have a 14" portable colour Hitachi that in excess of about 16 years old, and it won`t die so can`t justify replacing it :-)

Can`t get much better recommendation than that at least on build quality and reliability anyway.

Hi,
The IronDuke web page does not appear to exist anymore.
I have a C28WF535N
Is there anyway I could get the 3 digit codes for the Service Menu ?
I love the picture quality..
It just needs horizontal adjustement of Left Right and width.

Rob, the reason the page does not exist could be that this is an 8 year old thread. How the hell did you dig this one up?

I just got the TV for nothing.
No manuals etc.
I have been Googling, and downloaded a User Manual(not Service).
More Googling to find out how to adjust picture calibration.
That Googling got a hit on this forum.
