Page 1 of How many songs have you downloaded so far on to your MP3?

So far I have transfered 1601 songs on to me the MP3. I didn`t realise I had that many to download. :/

Funny you should mention that, just changed some on mine ten mins ago. I`ve got 99 on now, works out around 6 and a half hours of music...more than enough to keep me going, and easy to swap about in windows explorer if I fancy a change.

I don`t download them though, they`re all ripped from CDs I have, I`m too wary of file sharing programs to use them. :)

That`s what I did I transfered all my CDs on to Realplayer, and then used WE.

Im now in the process of making compilations, which is very cool, because at least I don`t have to fish for the CDs anymore, I can just simply copy and paste. 8)

Yeah, it is good, I used to use Realplayer, but been using Windows Media Player 10 lately (seems a bit faster ripping them, does a full CD in the time it takes to play one track). We`ve got mp3 CD players in mine and the mrs cars now, so I`ve done compilations for in the car (just in case the car ever got broke into your original CDs are safe). We`ve got two mp3 CDs with 29 albums on between them....mobile jukebox..who needs an autochanger....lol :)

Got about 3000 on mine and still got about 4.5 gig left on my 20 (18.5gb) player

Got 3618 songs on mine. It`s just about full now though.

I have a few questions

How do I shuffle tracks on me i-river, I`ve tried selecting it on the menu, but nothing seems to work.

If I connect my i-river to the computer does it drain the battery life? As it`s supposed to last 16 hrs, as so far it`s only lasted over 6 hours.

Got almost 7000 on my iRiver , and I haven`t added the CD`s just bought in the sales yet.
I originally transferred my entire CD collection, and it just keeps growing. Before long I`ll have to start removing the albums I never should have bought at all .

One thing I`ve never managed is to transfer a legally downloaded track from the PC- I only have a couple anyway so haven`t really tried too hard, but how can I get the license info transferred ?

Press the AB button (long press). The shuffle mode will appear at the top of the screen (near battery indicator) - this is blank for standard replay. Pressing AB repretedly loops through all the shuffle options that were selected via the menu.

I don`t often use mine for more than a few hours before recharging - but it has definitely lasted longer than 6 hours.

I have started to move all the songs from an artist`s albums (say Queen) in to one, so I have no album folders for that artist just the songs when I click on their name.

I dont have an MP3 im fine with my PC and burning but i have downloaded about 2100 songs probably I didnt realise i had so many songs to get either
