Live Lounge 3 - out 20th Oct 2008

In case anyone`s missed it (I know I did!) the latest Live Lounge album is out tomorrow.
The first two were pretty good (IMO) - so hoping this one is just as good.

agree - the first two were brilliant......Jamelia`s version of Linkin Park`s `Numb` is an all time favorite of mine......Also Sugababaes version of Hard Fi`s `Sometihng for the weekend` is brilliant too.

Have to agree with the comments about the Jamelia track. Worth hunting out the original Evening Sessions CD (for the Wuthering Heights cover alone) and the R2 Saturday Sessions as well...

Is that Dermot O`Leary`s "The Saturday Sessions"?
If so, love that album, actually listening to it now as I work :D

"Middle Of The Hill"...great track.
But my personal favourite is Beck`s "Lost Cause"

what makes these albums for me is hearing people i wouldnt usually like i.e Jamelia covering a track in such an amazing way. It just makes me appreciate them more.

I dont know why the hell they put that Corinne Baily Rae on there though - her tracks are frikkin boring sh*te imho though

Loved the first, hated the second. Hoping that the third isnt too bad.

Standouts across the series for me are Jamelias version of Numb, and the streets covering their own track "lets push things forward"

Which reminds me, I picked up The Streets - "Everything Is Borrowed" a couple of weeks back when I had another £1 off at CDWow. I`m enjoying that (especially "Heaven For the Weather" Hell for the company! ;))

CD turned up this morning.
Its not quite as good as the first two...but still has some good tracks on it.

These stand out for me:
Dizzee Rascal - "That`s Not My Name"
Paramore - "Love`s Not A Competition"
REM - "Munich" ( I love the Editors stuff)
Foo Fighters - "Keep The Car Running"
The Zutons - "Beautiful"
Bat For Lashes - "Sweet Dreams"
