Does anybody know of any good braodband offers, i thinking of getting it.
I`ve always been with pipex, no complaints.
£17.57 setup fee, including modem and microfilters can`t be bad (I had to pay nearly 150 quid 18 months ago)
Monthly costs are £23.44, other isps may be slightly cheaper, but probably cost more to get started.
what is ONSPEED and is it any good?
Ditto on Pipex.
onspeed
your request for a web page goes to their server they get the web page compress it and send to you graphics can be a bit blocky depending on setting .pcpro seem to think it works
Have had Telewest Blueyonder for 18 months now and never had any compaints - great if you can get cable where you are.
:)
I`ve got freenetname broadband. £24 a month and apart from a couple of times in the first 2 days when it disconnected (reconnected straight after), it has been flawless.
There is no connection, and you buy your own modem. So you can choose whether you want a cheap one or a fancy router to share the connection with another PC.
We only got it because we had an existing dial up account with them for the free domain name they give you, and wanted to keep it so had a look into their broadband.
Man who fight with wife all day get no piece at night
Can`t complain with pipex ....migration from btopenworld free quick and painless....not sure if the migration process is still free tho` :/

Didnt seem a bad deal, though no sign of microfilters in the deal?
