A sensibly priced dial up internet provider?

jemma (Competent) posted this on Friday, 23rd April 2004, 01:59

Hi there All,

One of my friends here, has just bought a very good Dell Notebook P.C.

We were wondering if any one knew of a good I.S.P that offered 24/7 dial up internet close to £10 a month. 150 + hours a month would be good enough

Yes, it`s true that Broadband only costs about £15 but they want the freedom of using any phone socket .

Thanks
Jemma

If you mean one that can dial up from any location, there aren`t that many. Most restrict you to dialing up from home only. Of the 3 I know of that allow you to dial up from anywhere, V21 is the cheapest (£9.99 for 42 hours a week I think?). The other two were BT Openworld and AOL.

Clara net £5 a month - 12 hours free off peak calls.

Ignore it I re-read your post.
