NTL Speed increases. Have you had yours yet?

Apparently it`s already started and will really get going within a couple of days. If you have a cable modem (ie not from a set top box) you may be able to check your connection details here - userid is root and password is also root. Secure eh ;-). Select Operation Configuration from the bottom left and it will tell you your maximum downstream/upstream rate.
Mine hasn`t yet :-(

Mine neither :-(

Does it need a reset? I`ll try that now.

No, that didnt make any difference. Guess I`ll have to wait a few days then.

You don`t have to ring up. 600000 will become 750000..

Try this one instead - very simple, very effective.

Upgrades should be starting from tomorrow, I believe, but I think it`s the 1 to 1.5MB upgrades first.

As far as i know it all starts 1/8/04.

The customers with set-top boxes will have to wait as the users with a separate line in will get there`s first.

Basically the hardcore broadbanders will all get upgraded first :D

Yup, if you want to link to a speed test, there`s loads I could link to. But I didn`t. Many people think the upgrade doesn`t start until 1/8/4 but there are loads of people who have had it already..
There was a link on the NTL website - "When Will I Be Upgraded?` but they`ve taken it down... Up soon maybe?..
