Crash course in burning photos/film to cd/dvd rqd please!

Neiliboy (Elite) posted this on Thursday, 16th September 2004, 01:19

Ok,

as most of you know i`m not the greatest PC whizz out there.

I have a Sony P10 digital camera and i`ve been taking loads of short movies of my little girl with it. Now - here the questions;

1. do i burn the images to cd or dvd?
2. what format are they recorded in? mpeg or somet? (aint got a clue!)
3 er......how do i go about burning them? I`m using XP and have media player as the default.
4. oh yeah final question - the dvd writer says + or - so which do i buy? I`ll probably want to post these dvd`s to relatives as well as watch on my own sony dvd player.

Many thanks in advance

Neil

Get Nero This has step- by step guides to make and burn exactly what you need. It`s almost childs play. As for the discs, from the sounds of it your drive can handle both. So Get a disc of each 1 + disc and one - disc and play around. Have fun!
