How do I stop an annoying website popping up without my permission ??!!
I have the Google toolbar which has a pop up blocker (880 blocked so far) but recently a site called `Bullseye` keeps coming onto my computer while I`m happily browsing the web without me requesting it.
Even if I delete it about 10 minutes later it will come back again, full screen rather than a little box.
Could someone tell me how I can stop this as it feels like something has invaded my computer .. thanks alot, Foxy.

Spot on. Try installing adaware and spybot: search & destroy. if that dosen`t work, try cwshredder.
Course, the google toolbar could very well be the source of the problem...

Install the Yahoo Toolbar, it also has an anti-spy program detect/delete option. ;)

Try using firefox instead of internet explorer.

If you`ve got XP SP2 installed, that has a pop up stopper as a part of it, but Bulls Eye Netwrok is actually a program which auto-installs when you visit certain web pages-one free weebspace provider is loading this when you visit pages that use their space.
Go to control panel, add/remove programs, and scan down for Bulls Eye Network and uninstall-it will try and get you to keep it, just make sure you answer the questions correctly-mazingly, it will flash up a spyware blocker ad at the end of the uninstall!!
Also, a couple of other adware/spyware programs seem to piggy back onto your machine with this, so take a good look down the list in add/remove programs.
