Page 1 of Problem with nero backup.

i backed up a 200gig drive using nero 7`s backup facility (files only) & when i came to put it all back on the last disc is corrupt & cannot be read at all, unfortunately the last disc is the one with the info to re-combine the files that are split during the spanning process, so at the begining & end of a disc i have one half of each file across different discs (does that make sense) the majority of files are fine, but i need a way to re-combine the split files back into there original avi state. nero is no use at all, without the restore info from the last job it won`t touch it.

I use Norton Ghost 2003 for backups, never had problem yet.

Try copying the last disc onto another disc. You will need to keep trying but it may eventually get there. Of course, use DVD RWs though.
