Has anybody got the Sky pack giving all three services?
Seriously thinking of going for this and just after a bit of feedback

warning - I signed up to receive sky broadband and had it installed on the 24th Jan. I had no end of problems with no connection between the hours of 5 and 8 in the evenings.
Needles to say, I ditched it after just 6 days and have gone back to NTL.
i tried sky, & this was the result......

Ni probs with the tv, but the broadband service was unforgivably bad
Having read your thread it sounds like a bit of a nightmare.
Don`t know if it`s changed from when you tried but they offer 16 meg speed and unlimited downloads now with the 10 quid package and unlimited landline calls 24/7 with a supposed 25% cheaper mobile calls for 5 quid more. All that and a free wireless router.
Not as many problems visible on MSEs forums.
Doing the maths, as I`m currently on BT for phone and Orange for broadband it would save me a fair bit of dosh.
I must admit Skys multiple choice phone menus drive me mad but then so do most other companies.

two ways to get around the menus. First thing, make sure you phone the number that they don`t promote, 0800 0512595 - saves you a fortune when they keep you on hold (info taken from www.saynoto0870.com). Worked for me when I phoned to cancel last week.
To defeat the menus, don`t press anything - the computer will think your using a non-touchtone phone and will put you though to an advisor. They might have to transfer you but at least you get to speak to someone quickly.
hope this helps.
Sister in law had no ends of problems & convinced herself\by Sky that it was her PC (funny how it worked perfectly for me in building & configuring on my BB connection) & bought a new PC (guess what same problem).
Had me on the phone 200 miles away trying everything I could think of to ensure connectivity & trying to cope with\explain differences with someone who was clueless (despite being on a "computing for the terrified course") between:
PC logon
BB Logon
Router Logon
Sky wouldn`t deal with her partner when he rang (she had just had a hysterectomy & in hospital) up.
Caused her no end of stress while she was supposed to be recovering.
Finally got Sky to send a engineer out (or remove it) & then still had problems with getting her e-mail (I had to set up a receiving account with my ISP, just so she could get mails sent to her).
This sorry saga went on for months.

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.
Todays goal is to exceed yesterdays record level of totally unverifable productivity.
I don`t understand why people knock ASBO`s, they are good things as for most of the recipients, these are the only qualifications they will ever have.
