ScreenSelect - recently slow at sending out DVDs?
My In-Movies rental was transferred to ScreenSelect when they merged and the first few weeks all was OK.
However, last week they took 4 days to send out a replacement DVD even though I had over 30 in the list. I emailed them twice and on 2 occasions they promised a DVD would be out that day but they didnt on both occasions.
Today it appears that they havent sent a single DVD out despite receiving all 3 of my rentals back this morning.
Anyone else having problems with them?

Yes .....I have encountered the same problems. I used to be an In-Movies customer like yourself ...until they were taken over. I am thinking of looking for another dvd rental site ...one that has a quicker turn around. But which one should I choose? ...there are so many these days.

same problem,they receive dvds but don`t send them out until next day after emails happened the last 3 times now.

I`ve decided to cancel my membership with them ...I `m gonna give "Video Island" a try ...and see if their service is any better.

I too have had the same service (or lack of it) recently.Takes ages between sending and recieving.I had the 3 dvd`s at a time package but for two days only two were showing as out (which was correct) when i complained and asked where my third one was I got a very terse reply saying I should give them time and to keep checking the website.
I too have cancelled my membership.
I am trialling Qflicks.

Same problem. Never ever get more than 3 discs in a week from them. They take all week to send the discs to you. Im off to Lovefilm free 1 month trial and then we`ll see what happens

Glad to see I`m not the only one having problems with ScreenSelect lately. I`ve been subscribed to both In-Movies and MailboxMovies since November 2003 to try and select the most reliable service. I`ve been recording the dates that each company sends out and receives back their movies. December was a bad month (Xmas ??) and in January ScreenSelect took over. MailboxMovies charge the same for their 3 disc plan and they are by far more reliable that the "Amazon of DVD rentals". Almost on every occasion they have sent out the new discs on the same day they receive the old ones back. They really do use First Class which means the next day and not four weekdays!! They also work on Saturdays which means if they send out a movie on Friday I receive it on Saturday, alternatively if they send it out on Saturday I receive it on Monday. I will be cancelling my ScreenSelect subscription - bearing in mind that when you cancel they immediately stop sending out new discs, no matter how mush of your subscription if left!

still not sent 2 dvds since last week.no replies to emails it`s as if they suddenly in the last 2 weeks don`t want customers any more.they are quickly going to realise that their are plenty of other dvd rental companies to join as most members will cancel their accounts-treat customers badly-no business. :(

ScreenSelect were well on the ball during my free trial, sending out the same day they received my dvds. The first time my payment was debited things went very pear shaped. Too much of a coincidence for me. Will be cancelling before next payment date. They also have a free phone number: 0808 2000 194 and a very cocky manager. Feel sorry for her when I cancel :D

still had a dvd from them so did not cancel this month but will cancel my membership when it runs out in 3 weeks time.they have finally answered my emails after 5 days but the usual (dvds despatched in 24 hours-IT`S BEEN LONGER THAN 24 HOURS-
(you can look at your dvd wishlist in your account page-REALLY CAN YOU, HOW STUPID DO YOU THINK YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE!.
