Broadband : BT versus NTL
I currently have a BT landline but live in an NTL area . Who are best for service and value for money on Broadband , I would like to spend about £20 a month and have no download limits , who is the best ?

NTL are better - BT have a 1GB a month cap, NTL 1GB a day
There, that was easy...next :D

RE: Broadband : BT versus NTL
but tbh, both are pathetic when it comes to customer service.
general nobody @ www.dvdreviewer.co.uk and now www.x-disk.com/viewforum.php?f=41 for all things X-BOX
Been with NTL for four years and the customer service has been very good when I have had to use it. :) :)
Yeah. NTL have 90% of the time been very helpful to me. As opposed to the 20% of BT. And BT always have extortionate helpline numbers.
What im listening to (if youre interested)
Are we comparing BT and NTL, or broadband through a BT line and NTL?
NTL for 600 (now 750)k broadband and BT for my phone. Have to say ntl have always been brilliant in terms of customer service and for me their service as a whole is excellent, very rarely in 2 years have I had any trouble with my broadband.

I`d have to back up the earlier comments, NTL customer service is hit and miss....mostly miss (customer of about 6yrs now from the Comcast days). On the good side, you don`t have trouble that often, so don`t need ot get in touch much. The internet side of things, and the phone have been very reliable....it`s the TV that`s more often the problem.
So long as you don`t need customer service, it`s pretty good. :)
Mark. :)
