Retailer Reviews Forum
My thanks to Saqib and tpr for bringing this Region 3 retailer to my attention - http://www.dddhouse.com
All their prices are in Hong Kong dollars, and they state that they convert to your local currency.
So I`ve just ordered `Audition` for HK$63, and HK$30 for postage. Sounds a lot, doesn`t it, HK$93.
Using my useful Universal Currency Convertor, that Dukey kindly supplied me (cheers mate - fantastic gizmo - use it all the time now)
HK$93 = er.......£8.26 !!!!
I`ll let you know how long they take.
Cheers for the tip guys.
Hiya
Ive ordered from these they even say on the box that it is a gift :)
It took less than a week in fact i ordered something from box office and it came 3 or 4 days before that
Very good i thought
Samantha
clayts - after all the hype and your very cheap price ive took the plunge, but if i suddenly start getting extortionately high credit card bills i know where to start looking : )
also please could you give me the link for that universal convertor? it sounds useful!

cheers dicanio!
quality, apart from the bloody annoying visa advert that constantly pops up!!!
Okay, promised I`d keep you updated - it`s on it`s way over from HK to chez Clayts, so I`ll let you know how long it takes.
They put a nice little rider in saying "seven days depending on the country`s customs !" Mind you if as Samantha says they mark the package as gift (nice one, Samantha - useful to know for bulk orders in the future), this shouldn`t be an issue.
I think once we`ve all got our copies of `Audition` we should raid every DVD site and say, "CTHD ? So passe !"
Don`t worry, you won`t have any problems with DDDHouse - they are very good. Although I don`t think marking `gift` on a bulk order of 1000 dvds is gonna make much difference ;-)
007.
(BTW whats `Audition`?)

RE: DDD House - R3 retailer
I`ve just checked this site out and it looks really good but where can I go to get information like reviews on these R3 films? All the sites deal with R1 and 2!
Cheers
Peter
Yes and what is `Audition`?
Andy whet my appetite for this film here :

`audition` is a really disturbing but excellent japanese film in which there is one of the most painful torture scenes that i have ever seen. very creepy film but worth looking for. i can assure you that 1) accupunture will no longer be attractive again and 2) that someone saying `kiri, kiri, kiri` in a high pitched voice will raise your heart rate!
a good `unpleasant` film (if such a thing isnt a contradiction in terms!)
