Since April, minimum spend for non-Prime customers to get free delivery is now £25."

And one year later, minimum spend to qualify for free postage is now £35 (£10 of books also qualify). It went up last week. Otherwise each delivery now costs at least £3.99

They really don't want me spending money there, do they?

I always use lockers these days. I've got a choice of about four in the local area and it's much more convenient than waiting in for the delivery guy to arrive. And it's free.

I wish Royal Mail would implement a similar locker-style solution.

I've gone back to buying from retailers direct again. Not as a positive decision to do this but I found Amazon didn't have what I wanted or wasn't as cheap as it was either.

Why do people still shop with them... they rip you off with subscriptions?

Yes they are conveniently fast, but I would rather spend money elsewhere!

I gave up on Amazon a long time ago due to postal charges.
Never did care about fast delivery.

Many other on-line retailers give you free postage, including Ebay, and usually works out cheaper for the same item that was on Amazon.
