That's an affirmative from me.
Who's got it, Sky, Netflix.......?
Oh and really good editing. Never even saw Keith Harris's hand.

Anyone watching this? I must admit I'm very surprised, i expected a typical McFarlane fare, more belly laughs, ott nonsense, more Airplane humour but tbh its much more Star Trek stories than with some clever humour and snide funnies than i expected, and you can see he really does care for the original material.
not watched it yet, but your comments above seem to be why it's had some lukewarm reviews, i.e. it's not what ppl were expecting, so they don't like it, rather than giving it a fair go, which you seem to have done, but then you're not an American :)

Had a look at the trailer, has a very 'Galaxy Quest' style.
I do not know this McFarlane guy at all, so it would be an open book for me. What channel will it be on in the UK?

A quick Google about and it seems Fox UK will have it.
No dates yet but likely to be soon.

I've seen the first two, I think Fox have moved nights for it (which may be the kiss of death?) already.

Yeah, every story so far could easily be a ST:TNG story if it wasn't for some of the humour.
I'm not sure about it, it's watchable but the humour isn't funny enough for it to be a straight out comedy, and the rest of the script and story is a bit too much like TNG in it's maturity.
Feels like it needs to either be funnier, or a bit darker.

ST:TNG didn't start off great, took a few seasons to get going. I remember as I gave up on it after a couple of episodes but got into it after going round a mate's house who used to buy the videos of a couple of episodes!

Just caught up on the first three episodes, thought it rather good, and looks very Star Trek TNG, right down to alien costumes, deck layouts and CGI. Most likely reused some of the original designers, script writers and scene makers by the looks of it.
Acting was good, stories quite interesting so far, and as said the comedy is there but not right in your face.
For example really liked the Mexican dance off on the screwed up holodeck
Will keep watching, as really missed the Star Trek world, even if its a rip off clone version.
Well that episode was excellent, i just wish he would turn it to a proper sci-fi show and lose the silly jokes as this is vastly superior to the Discovery series and the actual stories are very good and the added bonus of SPOILER:
Liam Neeson :), must be nice to have such famous mates
