RE: Look "who" I met at the weekend.... :o)
This just made me think of an article I read this weekend
about Jim Bowen (Super,Smashing,Great).
He pays the bills by going along as a "celebrity" to events such as Truckfests.
He has a code he gives to his driver,"what time are we due in Newark",Newark being an anagram of what he thinks of said fan!
RE: SPD setting ?
SPD (Serial Presence Detect) is a feature available on all DDR modules. This feature solves compatibility problems by making it easier for the BIOS to properly configure the system to optimize your memory. The SPD device is an EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory) chip, located on the memory module itself that stores information about the DIMM modules` size, timings, speed, data width, voltage, and other parameters. If you configure your memory by SPD, the bios will read those parameters during the POST routine (bootup) and will automatically adjust values in the BIOS according preset module manufacturer specifications.
Ooh...hark at me. :D

RE: Clearing out my cupboard - polo neck.......cool or not?
You`ve got to be skinny to get away with it as well.
Big fat bloke with man-breasts in a black polo top.
You can`t beat it. 8)

RE: In this day and age
This is all getting a bit Nina-ish.
RE: In this day and age
What does Bowfer say that makes him `sad` exactly?
I can`t work out from the quote you selected any so called `jaded attitude`.
The woman didn`t like clubbing before.
The marriage was going through a bad patch.
She`s now taken to clubbing with another woman out of the blue.
I`m with his mates on this one.
RE: In this day and age
Another male perspective.
Clubs are for copping off or getting into a fight.
Well,the ones in Aberdeen are.
I`m happy enough for my wife to go out with her friends,
we have trust on each side which you need.
Although,I`m also glad my missus doesn`t like clubs as my worry
would be if she got close to some f*ck-wit having a go with another
or some p***ed-up twats not leaving them alone.
Fortunately she`d rather go and have a laugh with mates in a restaurant,
which tends to be safer getting home as restarant staff usually don`t have a problem
getting you a cab or if pre-arranged one of the partners can pick them up (car load of wined up wimmin...sheeeesh! :D ).
I think the example above of going out to see a band isn`t really in the same category as going out to clubs with your mate, just because of the nutter element in clubs.
I don`t remember from the original post...but is it just two of them going out clubbing?
Just her and her mate?
Two women in a club alone is bound to attract some lagered up lothario.
I think you`ve to ask yourself why are they going to clubs instead of a pub where they can sit down and talk, you can`t say they`re going to a club to do that as you can`t hear a bloody thing! Why aren`t they going out for a meal and socialising that way?Or why aren`t they having some wine round at each others.
Some might say it`s because they`ve got a better chance of pulling in a club.
Only you know what she`s really like.
RE: In this day and age
She`s getting shagged.....

RE: Who is Englands greatest footballer - 80`s and onwards..

Away with ya!
I bet he was loving it and couldn`t wait to tell all his mates at school the next day.
I know I would when I was that age.
RE: Not for girls but it is now
I laughed at one on Saturday.
They`re holding a Real Madrid shirt with No 23 on it..
"Who`s shirt is that?"
"Beckham?"
"No,his...he`s holding it"
haha..class...BCLC is ace as well!
RE: Calling all tottenham fans
I would say the chances of him being mince are very good.
Can`t get a game for that lot?
Got to be.

RE: Leeds fans
Got this from our email newsletter about the lad.
Somebody needs to introduce him to his manager more often so he gets his name right!
:)

Winter, who has seen his opportunities of first team football restricted at Leeds United, could slot in to the role currently vacated by Severin, and he jumped at the chance to come to Pittodrie. "I`m from Dundee and I know how big a club Aberdeen are, so when I took the call I knew I had to grab the opportunity. I`d been given permission to come back to Dundee to spend time with my family at New Year when I got a call from Leeds assistant boss Sam Ellis on Hogmanay to say Aberdeen wanted me on trial. I didn`t have anything with me and had to borrow a pair of boots from my dad (former St. Johnstone and Forfar Athletic player Gordon). I`ve been at Leeds for four years but the chance to try and win a deal at Aberdeen was too good an opportunity to turn down.
"I was in the squads and on the bench in the Premiership against the likes of Chelsea last season but the current boss Harry Blackwell has been reluctant to throw in too many young players."
RE: Desperate Housewives
Didn`t see it.
Did see a trailer for that thing with Denis Leary as a post 9/11 firefighter.
The line `the amount of pussy we got after 9/11` made me laugh.
Sorry...back to that housewife thing.
RE: Durabrand 1000 - Anyone know where to get one ?
I realised that as soon as I typed it but couldna be arsed correcting it.
I knew the pedant in you wouldn`t be able to resist.

As for the guy stating it didn`t cross the line coz his mate said so...
It was a joke...read it again.
My mate Alex is the giveaway.

RE: Durabrand 1000 - Anyone know where to get one ?
I see he`s selling Diesal Trainers n`all.
RE: In light of yesterday`s appalling decision - should refs be using video replays during matches??
LOL!
I liked these!
Quote:
My mate swears it wasn`t over the line - he was there he should know, camera angles can be very deceptive. He reckons that the line was two to three foot forward of where it should have been anyway - so it clearly wasn`t over the line. He reckons that refs are biased against Man U and never award them any penalties while giving the opposition loads. My mate Alex sits virtually on the touchline so he has a great view

Spurs fans you are the biggest bunch of moaning ...............Yes we know you are a big club.......Yawn :D
RE: In light of yesterday`s appalling decision - should refs be using video replays during matches??
Sounds dodgy Bowfer.
We`ve transponders here and they`re not averse to failure.
Couldn`t see them fitting a device like that in a ball and it
being fully operatable after being dunted about by some carthorse
in a Tottenham kit :D
Also, would fitting something like that not affect the weight, balance and velocity of the ball?
I still believe that teams in the 3rd Div or whatever should have the same (or lack of!) technology/rules as the teams playing in the top league.
IMO,iffy refereeing decisions are an ingredient of the game which make it such an appealing game.
Not very comforting when you`re on the receiving end of them I admit.
RE: In light of yesterday`s appalling decision - should refs be using video replays during matches??
No.
You need do it in every game and that`s not practical.
Jumpers for goalposts...hmmm..isn`t it?

Everton are 10 points ahead of Tottenham Hotspurts.
In case you needed that explained to you.
Is our bet still on?
Everton finishing above that lot?
RE: ******************Man. Utd V Spurs Spoiler ***************
10 points ahead as well last time I looked.
RE: tsunami did you think of the victims (3 MINUTES SILENCE) ! !
Our workplace had one.
An email was sent out that we would be "adhereing" to it.
So,going by that you had no choice if you don`t believe in enforced grieving and thinking X minutes silences do the victims any good.
I found myself something else to do.
Leeds fans
What`s your take on Jamie Winter,if you have one?
My lot,Aberdeen, have him up on trial.
Not getting my hopes up as if he can`t get a game for a struggling Leeds side he can`t be up to much ;) (Leeds are dear to my heart through family so only messing!)
What do you think of Blackwell while we`re at it?
Some very inconsistent results but I`m not seeing them play.
Do you think he`s the answer?
I had my doubts when I learned of his appointment but as I say,I`m not seeing the games.
What do you think?
RE: Gone and done it now
Now you know why you always find a black hair in yer kebab Bowfer.
Aye, JUST you!
