RE: dirt devil pressure washers £9.99 in sainsburys
I picked one up last night. Having paid I noticed the box was bit bashed up underneath so asked if I could swap it. They did it for me and when I got home I noticed they`d given me the 2200w version.
Just need to wait for the hosepipe ban to be lifted!
Thanks OP
RE: Best Deal on SatNAV (and Services)?
Yep - it does all of that. It easy to look at the screen while driving even though it is a reasonably small size. It has a 3D display. The voice instructions are clear and warn you before a turning (will also tell you how far it is) and when you get to it. For example it will say "turn left in point 1 mile" and then when you are almost there it waill say "turn left".
For the price these really are superb little units. They are really easy to use and you can preset desinations which you save as favourites. That way once you reach where you are going you simply select "Home" on your favourites and it ..er directs you home.
It also has points of interest, including takeaways, petrol stations, cash machines etc. Basically it will tell you the nearest ones and the distance.
Please feel free to ask anything else you`re not sure of.
RE: Best Deal on SatNAV (and Services)?
The Garmin Street Pilot i3 is superb ...and cheap at only £129.99. You can upload speed cameras from PocketGPSworld.com for which they charge, but only £2. These bleep and show you the camera position if you are going too fast and simply flash a warning that the camera is approaching if you are not going too fast.
They come loaded with up to date UK maps and very basic european maps so you would need to buy a transflash card with the relevant euro map.
The only thing it doesn`t do is pick up traffic reports/problems but it does re route very quickly if you take a wrong turn.
Have a look at www.pocketGPSworld.com. There are some really useful good forums.
I am a satisfied customer - oh and don`t work for Garmin!
Hope this helps.

RE: SKY + (Existing customers)
My heart bleeds for Sky - !!! Their profits only increased by 32% last year to £425 million after tax.
I would gladly pay Sky more and repaeat my fee the way they repeat their programmes.
Get real!
RE: MAD Cheap BOXSETS at Amazon - Indiana Jones £3.97, Monty Pyton £3.97 etc
I went to the trouble of asking Amazon why they cancelled the order without telling me. Call me old fashioned but it`s courtesy thing!
They have told me it`s because my bank declined the payment!! Which they didn`t!
Anyway nothing venture nothing gained! I`m still riding high from that Dell misprice earlier this year which Dell did honour.
;)

RE: 2500 Sheets Of paper Delivered Next Day For £4.64
Nice one! :) Just ordered mine. It took a couple of minutes for me to work out that I didn`t need to order anything else to get the paper and that the £4.64 was for delivery.
RE: free budget headset
Looks like the promo code expired today!
Thanks anyway.
RE: Dimension 3000 2.6GHz (Celeron D) 17
I`m due (or rather my wife is due) to take delivery of the long awaited PC today. To avoid the problems you encountered can you confirm how many boxes there were. I get the impression from Dell`s tracking system there should be 3?
Thanks
++++STOP PRESS++++ 3 boxes have just arrived! So fingers crossed that`s the right number (I won`t know until I get home as my wife`s understanding of PC`s is limited to it being a "nice" colour)!

Yippee
Well spotted in the first place and thanks for sharing it.

Me too....... yippeee!
RE: Dimension 3000 2.6GHz (Celeron D) 17" Monitor £184 inc delivery. (rpoints)
I made an order on Friday (28/01) and have heard nothing.
I have probably spent what I might have saved in `phone calls and emails to Dell!
Basically they have confirmed there is an "IT problem" with orders for the Dimension 3000. One of their aptly named teams is going through every order to check it is okay and is then contacting the buyer. Needless to say they could not offer any time scale for this.
You may find calling 01344 373196 will help. This is Dell`s head office in Bracknell where they seem to be a bit more clued up as to what`s happenening.
Good Luck and if anyone is successful please let me know.
